• Member of the Fachbereichsrat Informatik (April 1997-February 2001).
• From April 2000-Fabruary 2001 I was vice dean (Prodekanin) of the computer science department until I moved to the FHTW.
• Member of the project group Berlin of the "Virtuelle Fachhochschule", a "Leitprojekt" of the German Research and Education Ministry, BMBF. Responsible for the modules "Propädeutikum virtuale" and "Hypermedien" and the research project "Virtueller Seminarraum".
• Member of the TFH Frauenrat
• Member of the President's committee on the "Erprobungsklausel"
• WebTeam director at the TFH Berlin including responsibility for the Internet Seminar. My goal was to pull the TFH, kicking and screaming, into the information age. *Every* engineer needs to know what the Internet is and what it isn't. Just before I left, the TFH had new letterhead printed. On top it has the school logo and the name, on the bottom it had just the URL of the school. I won.
